Content Description
The NAME project aims to commemorate the victims of AIDS in the form of a collaborative quilt made by their partners, friends and families. It started in San Francisco in 1987 and soon spread internationally. The idea was first brought to Europe by activists in the Netherlands, who donated this quilt block.
